🌿 Seasonal Worker – Public Works

Help shape and maintain the spaces our community depends on.

The Village of Donalda is seeking a motivated and hands-on individual to join our Public Works team for the summer. This is an excellent opportunity to work outdoors, build practical skills, and contribute directly to the upkeep and beautification of our community.

Position Details

  • Start Date: June 29, 2026
  • Duration: Approximately 8 weeks
  • Hours: 35 hours per week
  • Wage: $19.00/hour

What You’ll Do

  • Support the maintenance of roads, parks, and municipal infrastructure
  • Assist with landscaping, mowing, and general groundskeeping
  • Work alongside experienced staff on daily operations and projects
  • Take pride in keeping Donalda clean, safe, and welcoming

📣 Advertising and Promotions Coordinator

Tell the story of Donalda and bring community events to life.

The Village of Donalda is looking for a creative and enthusiastic individual to support our communications and promotions. If you enjoy storytelling, social media, and community engagement, this role offers a chance to make a real impact.

🌳 Park Planner

Help imagine and enhance the future of Donalda’s outdoor spaces.

The Village of Donalda is seeking a thoughtful and community-minded individual to assist with park planning and development. This role is ideal for someone interested in recreation, design, and building spaces that bring people together.

Position Details

  • Start Date: June 29, 2026
  • Duration: Approximately 8 weeks
  • Hours: 35 hours per week
  • Wage: $19.00/hour

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with planning and improving parks and green spaces
  • Gather community input and ideas
  • Conduct site observations and support project planning

These positions are funded through the Canada Summer Jobs Program. Applicants must:
